About us
Armor of Light Recovery Society was officially incorporated as a society on August 8, 2023. However, its roots extend far prior to this date. Founded by Hailey Jones, a resident of Wainwright, Alberta, the organization emerged from her personal experiences with addiction and family struggles. Recognizing a significant gap in the available support services, Hailey was inspired to make a meaningful difference in her community. Her vision was to create a resource dedicated to assisting individuals in need, and thus, Armor of Light was established.
Since its inception, Armor of Light has helped over 200 people and worked with many families, making a notable impact on the community. The society is committed to providing comprehensive support to those facing challenges related to addiction and family dynamics, ultimately fostering a healthier and more supportive community.
